The Committee also perused the Minutes of EPCG Committee dated 19.12.2002 and observed that there was no ground/justification to impose the condition that the EO would be fulfilled through earnings in free foreign exchange. Hence, the Committee approved nexus and allowed fulfillment of export obligation by realization in Indian Rupees under Deemed Exports Category as per Para 8.2 of FTP.
