Minutes of Exim Facilitation Committee (EFC)Meeting No.4/08 held on 2nd August, 2007 for import of Hydrogenated Vegetable oils (Vanaspati), Bakery Shortening.Margarine for 2007­2008 under Indo­Sri Lanka Free Trade  Agreement (FTA)                       An  EFC  Meeting  was  held  on    2nd  August,  2007  to  consider  applications  of  Indian  importers  for  import    of Vanaspati/Bakery  Shortening  /Margarine  for  second  quarter  of  2007­2008  (IInd  meeting  for  Second  quarter)  under  Indo­Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement under  Chairmanship of  Dr. Shyam  Agarwal, Additional Director General, Foreign Trade.   2. Following officials attended the meeting.             1.       Shri.O.P. Hisaria, Joint  DGFT           2.       Shri.Sunil Kumar, SO, M/o Agriculture   3.1             The Committee took into consideration the minutes of 1st meeting of the second quarter and observed that there was an inadvertent mistake at S.No.5 of Vanaspati (Health Foods Products (P) Ltd.).  Thus, all cases of Vanaspati import for the firm M/s Health Foods Products (P) Ltd. were re­considered by the Committee.  The permission letters were not issued in respect of these applicants, based on earlier meeting   3.2              After discussion the committee decided to allocate Indian importers vanaspati as per details given below:­   Agenda for Exim Facilitation Committee  Meeting to Consider application for issue of import licence for Import of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils (Vanaspati), Bakery Shortening, Margarine for the year 2007­08 Vanaspati   Sl.
