4.1         If administrative Ministry/ Department seeks information directly from the applicant firm, a copy of the letter will be invariably endorsed to DGFT.   4.2                All applications received till end of last month should be taken up in EFC meeting, that is applications received upto 31.04.2009 would be listed for May meeting. Agenda for the same would be sent during 25th to 31st  April which may incorporate applications received till mid month, that is, 15.04.2009.  Cases received in 2nd fortnight of month would be put up as additional agenda.   4.3         Additional agenda items must reflect changes occurring in the meanwhile, i.e. after circulation of original agenda and before date of meeting.   4.4         In cases for import of items which are restricted under notification No.63 dated 21.11.2008 and No.64 dated 24.11.2008, applicants to give utilization certificate of licence, if any, already obtained for the same item.   4.5         All cases where concerned Departments have given NOC may be put up ex­post­facto to EFC. Processing should normally not take more than 3 working days by which time, letter of approval must be issued.   4.6         Cases in which no communication is received from Administrative Department in time, and where similar products have been approved in the past, may also be submitted alongwith such details of past approvals for import authorization for taking decision by EFC.   4.7.        In respect of cases of where reply/comments/documents are awaited from the firms, it was decided to issue a reminder to furnish the requisite information/documents within 15 days failing which their cases will be closed.   5.       Meeting ended with thanks to all participants.
