MINUTES OF THE MEETING NO.10 (2024-25) OF EXPORT FACILITATION COMMITTEE (EFC) HELD ON 28.01.2025 AT 11:00AM1 VANIJYA BHAWAN, NEW DELHI
Meeting No.10 (2024-25) of EXIM Facilitation Committee (EEC) held in hybrid mode under the Chairmanship of Shri Rakesh Kumar, Addl. DGET at 11:00 am on 28.01.2025, Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi to consider the applications for export of restricted' items. 2. The following members attended the meeting: - a. In order to facilitate export, Para 2.51 gives power to Chairman, EFC to issue authorization in those cases, which have been discussed by EFC at [east once in previous meeting and got deferred, and where NOCs / recommendations have been received subsequently from the concerned agency (ies) with no divergence in views. However, such cases shall be brought before EEC in its subsequent meeting for approval on ex-post facto basis. iv. Dropped. Cases shown as Dropped imply that the firm is not responsive to the queries of DGET or to the concerned Administrative Ministry/Dept. and has not furnished documents/information/ clarification as called for despite reminders. Such cases are dropped from active agenda of EEC. However, the case can be reopened once the documents are received from the firm with fresh date of application. v. Rejected. Cases which are shown as Rejected imply that the EEC, after consultation with the Administrative Ministry / Dept., decided not to grant authorization due to reasons such as, proposal not supported by the concerned technical agency, not furnishing the relevant documents within the stipulated time period, not replying to the deficiency letter within the prescribed time period. No further communication will be issued by DGFT (Hqrs) in such cases. However, the firm can request for review of the decision of the Committee before DGFT.
