MINUTES OF THE MEETING NO. 5/AM’09­10 OF EXPORT FACILITATION COMMITTEE (EFC)HELD ON 21.08.09 AT UDYOG BHAWAN, NEW DELHI UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF SHRI V.K. SRIVASTAVA, ADDL. DGFT.   1.     The following were present :­   (i)                Shri V.K. Srivastava, Addl. DG               ­ Chairman (ii)              Ms. Prakriti Srivastava, AIG(Forest)        ­Rep.  of M/o Env & Forest/ FPD Division   In attendance:­   (i)             Sh. Hardeep Singh, Jt. DGFT                                                         2.     After deliberations the following decisions were taken:­   2.1 The following  02 cases  were approved:­   (i)    S.No 47 & 51 of agenda   2.2 The following 13  cases were rejected:­   (i)    The cases at Sl.Nos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 29, 33 & 40 of agenda  were rejected as Technical Authorities have rejected the same.   (ii)  The cases at Sl.Nos 14, 19 &  23  of agenda  were rejected as the firms have not furnished the reply to the queries despite reminders.     2.3 In cases of S.Nos. 27 & 28 of the agenda, it was decided that final reminder may be sent to the firm to furnish the information.   2.4             In cases of S.Nos. 50 of the agenda, since firm has submitted fresh purchase orders, it was decided that the application may be treated as fresh case and comments of MoEF may be obtained   2.5             The cases at S.Nos. 13, 34, 35 & 36 of the agenda, were deferred. It was decided to seek details from firms with regard to species of imported Sandalwood, quantity imported, rate per Kg., and the details of the import licences  etc  before considering their applications.

2.6             In case of s. No. 52 of the agenda, it was decided to seek detailed reasons from the firm why exports could not be made for such a long period and why they want re­validation of licence.    2.7             All other cases in the agenda were deferred except mentioned at para 2.1 & 2.2 above.
