MINUTES OF THE MEETING NO. 3/AM’09­10 OF EXPORT FACILITATION COMMITTEE (EFC)HELD ON 16.06.09 AT UDYOG BHAWAN, NEW DELHI UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF SHRI V.K. SRIVASTAVA, ADDL. DGFT.   1.     The following were present :­   (i)                Shri V.K. Srivastava, Addl. DG               ­ Chairman (ii)              Ms. Prakriti Srivastava, AIG                             ­ Rep. of M/o Env & Forest (iii)            Shri I.S. Hura, Technical Officer             ­ Rep. of DGHS             In attendance:­   (i)                Ms. Vibha Bhalla, Jt. DG                        ­ In attendance (ii)              Shri Rajiva Kumar, DDG                        ­ In attendance     2.      After deliberations the following decisions were taken:­   2.1 The Chairman directed that in cases ( S.No. 4, 6, 16 & 18 of the agenda) where comments of Ministry of Environment & Forest are pending for a long time, a D.O. letter from DG to the Secretary(MoEF) may be put up.

2.2 The following 11 cases  were approved:­   (i)    S.Nos 19 & 23 of agenda at deferred cases.  (ii)   The  case  at  S.No.  21  of  the  agenda  at  deferred  case  was  approved  for  38.992  MT  quantity  for  which  the  firm  has submitted fresh purchase order. (iii)            S.Nos 3,4 & 6 of agenda at regular cases. (iv)            S.Nos 4,5,6 & 7 of supplementary agenda(regular case). (v)  S.No 1 of supplementary agenda (ex­post facto approval case)   2.3 In case of cases at S.Nos 1 & 2  it was decided that firm may be asked to submit their reply within 15 days or else their cases will be closed.   2.4 The case at S.No. 24 of deferred cases was rejected as D/O Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries has not agreed for the same.   2.5 In cases of S.Nos. 9,14, 15 & 22 of the deferred cases, it was decided that reminder may be issued to the firm to furnish the information.   2.6 All other cases in the agenda were deferred except mentioned at para 2.2 & 2.4 above.   2.7 In case of s.No. 8 of deferred cases, ILS section to be reminded to give report.
