DGFT Committee Minutes
MINUTES OF EFC NO.10/AM08 (IMPORT) DATED 13.12.2007
Meeting of EFC No.10/AM08 of Export Facilitation Committee (EFC), (Import) held on 13.12.2007 under the Chairmanship of Dr. Shyam Aggarwal, Additional Director General of Foreign Trade.
The list of officers present is at Annexure – I.
131 cases were considered and following decisions were taken.
(i) 40 cases were approved (Annexure – II). (ii) 10 cases were rejected (Annexure – III) (iii) 74 cases were deferred for consideration in the next (Annexure – IV). (iv) 7 cases were considered to be examined on file (Annexure – V).
Following decisions were also taken:-
(i)
Technical Authorities may ensure that comments in respect of applications
received up to 31st August 2007 are sent expeditiously so that a final decision
could be taken in the next meeting.
(ii)
Ministry of P&NG to be requested to expeditiously send their comments.
(iii)
Ministry of E &F may be requested to expedite the decision related with the O/o
Chief Wild Life Warden.
(iv)
Agenda for cases received upto 15th of a month are to be sent to technical
authorities for their comments by the end of a month and supplementary agenda
to be sent for comments by 10th of next month for cases received in the second
fortnight of a month.
