DGFT Committee Minutes
MINUTES OF 1ST EFC MEETING HELD WITH DR SHYAM AGARWAL IN CHAIR ON 01.5.2007 1st meeting of Export Facilitation Committee (EFC) was held under the chairmanship of Dr Shyam Agarwal, Additional DGFT in his office on 1.5.07. The list of officials present is annexed. (Annexure 1) 1. The following general decisions were taken after deliberations: 1.1 EFC meetings will be held on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. 1.2 For 1st Tuesday meeting, the following actions will be taken: Cases to be considered: All applications received in DGFT by 15th of previous month; Issue of Agenda: By 22nd of previous month; 1.3 For 3rd Tuesday meeting, the following actions will be taken: Cases to be considered: All applications received in DGFT by end of previous month; Issue of Agenda: By 7th of previous month; 3 Pertaining to cases examined, the following decisions were taken: 3.1 Ex post facto approval was granted in 423 cases and 11 cases were rejected. (List at Annexure 2) 3.2 Approval was accorded in 73 fresh cases (List at Annexure 3) 3.3 Applications in 3 cases were rejected (List at Annexure 4) 3.4 134 cases were deferred to be taken up in the next meeting to be held on 15.5.07 (List at Annexure 5) 3.5 2 cases were decided in the miscellaneous category ( List at Annexure 6) 4 Meeting ended with thanks to all participants.
