Subject: Flag Hoisting Ceremony on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January 2026

On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony will be organized in this office on 26 January 2026 at 09:15 a.m. All officers attached to this office of the Customs Department shall be present at the flag hoisting venue at 08:30 a.m. in their departmental uniform, under the leadership of Shri Akshay Shekhawat, Authorized Officer, who will be the in-charge of the group. All security personnel are required to be present at the flag hoisting venue at 07:30 a.m. The presence of all officers, employees, and associated personnel of the Office of the Development Commissioner is respectfully requested at the parade ground by 08:30 a.m. to ensure the smooth conduct of the ceremony.

Programme Schedule of the Flag Hoisting Ceremony is as follows:

1. At 09:12 a.m., the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, SEEPZ-SEZ shall proceed to the chamber of the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster and request her to proceed for the flag hoisting.

2. At 09:14 am., Assistant Development Commissioner (Security), Shri Rahul Shivannagol, shall remain present on the steps of the Service Centre Building to receive the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster. Security Guard Shri Anand Dudhal and Security Guard Shri Umesh Patil shall escort the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster respectfully to the salute dais.

3. As soon as the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster is escorted from the Service Centre Building towards the parade ground by ADC (Security) Shri Rahul Shivannagol, the Parade Commander Shri Suresh Indulkar shall command the parade to come to attention, after which the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster shall inspect the parade.

4. The Head Security Guard Shri Rajendra Singh, standing near the flag post, shall hand over the flag rope to the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster.

5. At09:15 a.m., the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster shall hoist the National Flag. The Head Security Guard Shri Rajendra Singh shall hold the other end of the rope. The Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster shall step back one pace and salute the National Flag while facing it until the completion of the National Anthem.

6. The Parade Commander shall give the command “Salami Do”, simultaneously with the commencement of the National Anthem.

7. Atthe same time, all officers, employees, and citizens present shall salute the National Flag / remain in the position of attention until the last word of the National Anthem is completed, after which they shall lower their hands.

8. After the completion of the flag hoisting and the National Anthem, the Hon’ble Joint Development Commissioner, Pune Cluster will address and guide the officers, employees, and the gathering with her inspirational speech.

All the officers, employees and people connected with the office are requested to ensure compliance as above.
