Sub.:- Seminar on “Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY)” — regarding participation of SEZ Units and Associations — reg.

Kind attention is invited to the communications received from the Ministry of Labour & Employment and the Department of Commerce, Government of India, regarding implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) a landmark Central Sector Scheme aimed at promoting employment generation, formalization of workforce and enhancement of social security, with a special focus on the manufacturing sector and SEZ-based employment. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has been designated as the implementing agency for the scheme, and all establishments covered under the EPF & MP Act, 1952, including SEZ Units, are eligible for the benefits under the scheme.

In order to disseminate detailed information and facilitate awareness among SEZ stakeholders, a seminar / outreach session is being organized in coordination with EPFO (M/o Labour & Employment) as per the following schedule:

- iv. Integration with industrial clusters / SEZs and expected benefits for SEZ units; and 

- v. Clarifications on implementation and data validation. 

All stakeholders are requested to attend the above seminar. Participation will help units avail the benefits of the scheme and remain compliant with the latest national employment initiatives.
