PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 48 /2017-18

Attention of the Exporters, Customs Brokers and other stake holders is invited to various efforts being made by the Central Board of Excise & Customs to liquidate pendency in IGST refund claims. This commissionerate have already issued Public Notice No. 36/ 2017-18 dated 15.01.2018 and 43/2017-18 dated 26.02.2018 for rectification of various errors delaying IGST refunds. In continuation of the same, a Special Drive as “IGST/ITC Exports Refund Fortnight” is being conducted from 15 March to 29" March, 2018 (Fortnight) at this Custom House to liquidate the pendency of IGST Refund on export on account of various error codes.

During this fortnight, all shipping bills in respect of which data has been<br>validated by GSTN but refund has not been disbursed due to invoice mismatch error<br>(Error Code SB005) will be processed on priority.<br>3. Accordingly, seven additional teams have been created in this Customs<br>House, to deal with the pending cases of export related refund claims on priority<br>basis. Apart from formation of the dedicated special IGST Refund Cell during this Special Drive, a nodal officer of the rank of Additional Commissioner is also nominated to oversee the smooth functioning of liquidation of pendency and errors of IGST refunds , who may be contacted in case of difficulties.
