PUBLIC NOTICE No. 43 /2018-19

Subject: Updation of ICES Directories on account of Budget 2019.m/reg.

1. Attention of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade and ail other stakeholders 15 invited that Budget 2019 is expected to be presented in Parliament on Ist February 2019,

2. Updation of ICES Directories after Budget is presented would be done at the Directorate of Systems, Delhi

3. Updation of ICES Directories would begin on 1st February 2019 and continue ull updation of all Budget Notifications and changes in directories.

4. BE filing will be stopped in ICES at 1800 hrs on Ist February 2019 and Section 48 approvals will be stopped at 1800 hrs on Ist February 2019. However, system will be available for other functions in ICES. Suitable TICKERS will be made available on CITRIX as well as CBIC,ICEGATE websites regarding the timing for starting of the regular filing of BEs and section 48 approvals.

5. During the Budget Activity, Shipping Bill filing and processing will continue as usual without any stoppage. If any changes are announced in the Export Duty and Export Cess during the Budget, in respect of the relevant SBs, where LEO is granted on or after lst Feb 2019 till the directory changes are made online, and export duty/cessshall be collected manually thereon. Similarly, processing of BEs filed before 1800 hrs on Ist February 2019 will also continue as usual. Similarly, Prior Bills of Entry filed before1* February will be tracked for any change of duty liability before giving OOC.
