Attention of all Exporters/ Customs brokers /Shipping Lines/ Custodians and Members of ‘Yyade is invited to the Board’s Circular Number 55/2016-Customs dated 23.11.2016 and the Public Notice Numaber 20/2016-17, 02/2017-18 issued by this commissionerate. Further issuc vegarding endorsement on ARE-1 by Customs was raised during the PTFC and other meetings.

Fa ‘There is request from stakeholder that ARE-1 form should be signed and endorsed by the Custom officers at the time of granting LEO. In this regard, to further facilitate the tradle, endorsement of ARE-1 may be carried out in all CFSs “by the Superintendent responsible for evanting LEO”, after the EGM has been filed. Further, there is no requirement to provide any documents for endorsement on ARE-1 as the details of export can be verified using ICES 1.5. Bs Difficulty faced in this regard, if any, may be brought to the notice of this office.
