The Committee confirmed the minutes of meeting held on 06.12.2023 with consensus. Agenda No. 02: Application for setting up new EOU unit of M/s Portescap India Pvt Ltd

The Committee was informed that M/s Portescap India Pvt Ltd has submitted the proposal for setting up of New Unit at EL-143, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Trans Thane Creek Industrial Area, District: Thane, Navi Mumbai- 400710 for manufacture and export of “Electric Motors, Rotor Assembly, Machine Components: Adapter, Casing, Cover, Encoder, Flange, Flask, Hub, Plate, Platine, Porte Pailer, Pouly Motor, Ring, Ring Holder, Shaft, Tube, Tube Magnet Assembly, Design & Engineering Service (Tooling/Setup/Non Recurring Engineering Chanrges)’” with export turnover of Rs. 941.84 Crore, NFE of Rs. 370.73/- Crore, Investment in plant & machinery of Rs. 113.13/- Crore and Employment of 325 persons.

for The Unit representative stated that the proposed value for Design & Engineering Services the 18 Year is Nil, for 2™ Year is Rs. 2.25 Crore, for 3" Year is Rs. 2.36 Crore, for 4‘ Year is Rs. 2.48 Crore and for 5" year is Rs, 2.60 Crore.

Decision: After deliberation, the committee approved the proposal for setting up of New Unit at EL143, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Trans Thane Creek Industrial Area, District: Thane, Navi Mumbai- 400710 for manufacture and export of “Electric Motors, Rotor Assembly, Machine Components: Adapter, casing, Cover, Encoder, Flange, Flask, Hub, Plate, Platine, Porte Palier, Pouly Motor, Ring, Ring Holder, Shaft, Tube, Tube Magnet Assembly, Design & Engineering Service (Tooling/ Setup/ Non Recurring Engineering Charges)” in terms of Para 6.05 of FTP 2023 read with Para 6.01 of HBP 2023 and further directed the unit to maintain separate records for the manufacturing & services activities.

Agenda No. 03:- Monitoring of performance of M/s Watson Pharma Pvt Ltd (M/s_Zydus Lifescience Ltd)

The Unit had submitted all the APRs duly certified by Chartered Accountant. The performance of the unit was calculated in terms of provision of FTP/HBP. The unit has achieved positive NFE on cumulative basis for the 24 Block Period (2014-15 to 2018-19), 3° Block Period (2019-20 to 2022-23). 24 Block Period FE Rs in Cr. Regarding CRA Para, the unit representative stated that they are persuing the matter and closure will be done as earliest.
