Sub: 1. Constitution of Grievance Redressal Committee for EOUs &
SEZs in Northern India.

2. Celebration of International Yoga Day on 21.06.2016. Dear Colleagues, In the last one year we have made sincere attempts for streamlining the functioning of SEZs & EOUs operating in Northern India. Various steps have been taken for streamlining the functioning which includes holding of UACs on predetermined date, preparation of the minutes and communicating the same electronically expeditiously, communicating with the exporters electronically, disposal of various requests within time frame, electronic connectivity between NSEZ and airport etc.

In order to further ensure that any grievance of EOU/SEZ is handled in a transparent, time bound manner, I have constituted a “Grievance Redressal Committee”. This Committee will meet on first Tuesday of every month at 3.00 P.M.. A copy of the order in this context is enclosed in the attachment. Any EOU/SEZ unit can accordingly avail the services of the GRC and can send a communication to this effect to Mr. S.S. Shukla, Jt. Development Commissioner at his following email:

jdc@nsez.gov.in 3. International Yoga Day will be celebrated on 21.06.16. We will be holding a function in NSEZ on 21.06.16 at 7.00 A.M.. I request all of you to please organise activities on International Yoga Day in your premise as well and also send a photograph of the activity to me.

I had participated in first Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Free Trade Zone Summit meeting at Chabahar, Iran on 19-20, May, 2016. 27 countries had participated. I had made a presentation on behalf of India on “Indian Experience of SEZs”. Indian concept of SEZ was well appreciated by all the countries. This is for your information. With Best Wishes,
