Subject: Conduct of online written examination for the year 2026

under Customs Brokers Licensing Regulation - 2018 (as amended) — reg.

1. With the approval of the Competent Authority and in accordance with Regulation 6 of the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations (CBLR), 2018 (as amended), it is hereby notified that the CBLR Regulation 6 (F-Category) Exam, 2026, shall be conducted by NACIN on 17.03.2026 at designated examination centres across India.
2. The written examination will be a Computer-Based Examination (CBT) of 2½ hours (10:30 hrs to 13:00 hrs) with 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Questions will be bilingual in English and Hindi.
3. Examination Pattern:

The syllabus shall remain the same as prescribed under Regulation 6(7) of the CBLR, 2018. Candidates qualifying the written examination shall be required to appear for the oral examination. Successful candidates will be called for an oral examination for which separate communication will be sent. The oral examination will be held in June 2026. The pass percentage marks for qualifying in the oral examination will be 60%. 5. Admit Cards will be made available well before the examination date on www.nacin.gov.in under Examination → Customs Broker → Practice Test. Candidates will also be informed by email. A dummy test paper will also be hosted on the same portal. 6.
