Goods tariff consultations – Inputs sought

1. The goods tariff consultations entail looking at the tariff concessions being sought from the FTA partner as well as the tariff concessions that India can give to the partner.

2. The specific inputs on Goods tariff consultations may be provided in the following formats: a. FTA partner schedule HS code at the national line of the FTA partner Description Tariff concession sought (i.e. tariff elimination, reduction, TRQ etc) Rationale (current export value etc)

b. India schedule:
HS 8 digit code of India Description Tariff concessions that could be given (tariff elimination, reduction, TRQ etc) Rationale (production, employment etc)

c. Any other inputs on goods tariff.
