Multicomm Industries Limited, 1002/A, Pinnacle Business Park, Corporate Road, Prahaladnagar, Ahmedabad, 380015. A proposal was submitted by M/s Multicomm Industries Limited, Ahmedabad for setting up a unit in Kandla SEZ for Trading and Warehousing activity. Shri Kishor Kapdi, Director of the company explained their proposal. Shri Kapdi explained that they are already having a unit in KASEZ in the name of M/s. Afcan Impex Pvt. Ltd. for worn/used clothing in which Shri Kishor Kapdi is also a Director. The Committee asked the applicant that why they require 5 KL of water per day for their trading and warehousing activities. In reply Shri Kapdi stated that they require 5 KL water for sanitisation and cleaning of the unit due to current Covid-19 Pandemic. The Approval Committee after due deliberation decided to approve the proposal for trading and warehousing service activity subject to standard terms and conditions: - ५ 3-८

i) vi) vii) viii) xi) xii) The approval is subject to the additional condition that the applicant should seek a prior approval of any additional items they intend to warehouse and submit KYC details of clients to the Office of the Development Commissioner before undertaking the authorised warehousing activity. Further, none of the items which are restricted or prohibited will be allowed to be traded/warehoused and any restrictions on import/export of any items will apply unless specifically permitted by the UAC. The items falling under Chapter 72 & 73 will be subject to compulsory registration under Steel Import Monitoring System (SIMS). Further, with respect to traded/warehoused item at Sr. No. 33 the same is allowed to be traded/warehoused provided Import CIF value is Rs. 720/- per kg or more, for item at Sr. No. 34, the same is allowed to be traded/warehoused provided that the import CIF value is Rs. 680/- per Kg or more, for item at Sr. No. 15, the same is allowed to be traded/warehoused provided that the import CIF value is Rs. 251/- per Kg or more. Further, with respect to item at Sr. No. 19 viz. Nutritional Supplements, it is directed that the applicant needs to give an undertaking that the warchoused goods will be re-exported to the tune of 75% to 80% and also whenever any warehoused goods are cleared into DTA the same shall be subject to compliance of FSSAI norms and all other statutory compliance viz. NOC from Animal Husbandry Department, etc. before such clearance. Further, with respect to item at Sr. No. 38, the same is allowed subject to fulfilment of food standard requirements prescribed under any Act/Rules from concerned agencics. Further, no cleaning and excessive use of water will be permitted for the said trading/warehousing activities. In case of any discrepancy/mismatch between the above ‘Description of Goods’ as provided by the Unit & ‘Description of goods as per DGFT Import Policy’, the later will prevail. Further, the items will be subjected to the Policy Conditions specified in DGFT’s ITC HS Code wherever applicable. The above permission is also subject to further condition that the unit shall maintain separate accounts for trading and warehousing service activity and earmark separate space for both the activities and submit map of demarcated area. Further, the applicant will submit separate APRs for both of their trading and warehousing service activities. Further, the applicant will maintain separate stock register for trading and warehousing which will be subject to regular checking by the KASEZ customs authorities. uw

A proposal was submitted by M/s. Shriji Overseas, Meghpar Borichi for setting up a unit in Kandla SEZ for manufacturing activity and warehousing service activity. Shri Rajvardhan Jha, Proprietor of the firm explained his proposal. Shri Jha explained that they are in the business of import export of different commodities and now they intend to set up a unit in KASEZ for manufacturing and warehousing activity. 27.10.2020 at AGENDA ITEM NO. 163.3.13 Monitoring of ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REPORT (APR) for the Financial Year 2018-19, as per provisions of Rule 54 of SEZ Rules, 2006 As per Rule 54 of the SEZ Rules, 2006, the performance of the units shall be monitored by the Approval Committee as per the guidelines given under Annexure appended to these rules. The Committee perused the status, in respect of 255 units placed before them. The Committee noted out of 255 working units, 234 units have submitted APRs and 21 units have not submitted APRs for the year 2018- 19, Further, out of 234 units who have submitted APRs, 27 units have failed to achieve positive Net Foreign Exchange Earnings and out of 27 units who have failed to achieve positive NFE, 16 units have failed to achieve positive NFE in their 18 204 year of their 5 year block period; 9 units have failed to achieve positive NFE in 3* and 40 year of their 5 year block period and 2 units have failed to achieve positive NFE in 5" year of their 5 year block period. The Committee noted that in respect of the NFE negative cases at the end of 5t year of their 5 year block period that SCNs have already been issued in respect of 1 unit viz. Proactive Ecycler Pvt. Ltd. and adjudication has also been completed. After due deliberation, the Approval Committee directed the 005 office to take following actions as under: - Xi. 2. wl To issue SCN to M/s.
