||The Approval Committee after due deliberation decided to approve the<br>proposal for manufacturing and warehousing service activity subject to<br>standard terms and conditions and also subject to additional condition that|
||the applicant should seek a prior approval of any additional items they<br>intend to warehouse and submit KYC details of clients to the Office of the|

155.2 REQUEST FOR BROADBANDING

AGENDA ITEM NO. 155.2.1 Broad banding of Manufacturing Activity (Addition of new ITC (HS) in unit’s LoA) - Request of M/s. Woco Tech Polymere Kandla Limited, KASEZ.

with M/s. Woco Tech Polymere Kandla Limited, KASEZ is an approved unit LoA No. KASEZ/IA/017/2004-05 dated 17.08.2004, as amended, for manufacturing activity. Now the said unit has requested for broad-banding of their LoA for addition of new ITC (HS) Code.

before Shri Kirit Sevak, Commercial Manager of the company appeared the Approval Committee and explained their proposal. Shri Sevak stated that they are manufacturing products under ITC (HS) Code 8708 9900 and now one of their Chinese customers has requested for supply of finished products under ITC (HS) Code 4016 9990 for products made solely out of rubber. Hence, they have requested for addition of ITC (HS) Code 4016 9990 in their existing LoA.

The Approval Committee after due deliberation decided to reject the request of the unit on the ground that the products are categorised under specific ITC (HS) Code as per the Import/Export policy of DGFT. As such, any request for change in ITC (HS) code on the demand of unit’s client is inappropriate and hence cannot be entertained.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 155.2.2 Broad Banding of Trading activity in existing LoA - Request of M/s. Amar Flavours Pvt. Ltd., KASEZ.

M/s. Amar Flavours Pvt. Ltd., KASEZ is an approved unit with LoA No. 016/2013-14 dated 11.03.2014, as amended, for manufacturing activity. Now the said unit has requested for broad-banding of their LoA for trading activity for following items: -

__SY27069020 Tobacco) Pan Masala containing Tobacco 24039990 Shri A. Abhishek, Director of the company appeared before the Approval Committee and explained their proposal. Shri Abhishek stated that they are getting orders for supply of other brands of tobacco products and they will procure the said goods from other manufacturing units of KASEZ and will export the same to their foreign customers.

The Approval Committee after due deliberation decided to approve the broad-banding of trading activity of above four items in their existing LoA for manufacturing activity subject to the condition that the said items will be 100% exported on net to net basis and no wastage/reject of any traded items will be allowed and no import of any raw materials for the said traded items/no intra-zone purchase & no DTA sale will be allowed. Further, the unit will maintain separate accounts for manufacturing and trading activity. In case of any discrepancy/mismatch between the above ‘Description of Goods’ as provided by the Unit & ‘Description of goods as per DGFT Import Policy’, the latter will prevail.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 155.2.3

Broad banding of Manufacturing Activity (Addition of 01 new product in unit’s LoA) —- Request of M/s. BVH Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd., KASEZ.

M/s. BVH Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd., KASEZ is an approved unit for manufacturing activity.

Now the unit has requested for broad-banding of their LoA for manufacturing activity of following item for export: -

The Approval Committee after due deliberation decided to amend their item description from “Store Returned Garments Repair” to “Cut Wipers” both falling under the same ITC HS Code 6310 1020 in their existing LoA. Further, those items which are free for import/export will only be allowed

Printed: Other Nutritional 21061000 Protein concentrates and textured protein Supplements substances The Committee, after due deliberation, decided to take on records the items to be warehoused by the above unit on behalf of DTA client as submitted by the unit subject to the condition that none of the items which are restricted or prohibited will be allowed to be warehoused and any restrictions on import/export of any items will apply. Further, the items will be subjected to the Policy Conditions specified in DGFT’s ITC HS Code wherever applicable. Further, the unit will submit KYC details of clients to the Office of the Development Commissioner before undertaking the above warehousing activity. As regards the warehousing of Nutritional Supplements (ITC HS 2106 1000) the Committee asked the applicant to give an undertaking that the warehoused goods will be re-exported to the tune of 75% to 80% and also whenever any warehoused goods are cleared into DTA the same shall be subject to compliance of FSSAI norms and all other statutory compliance viz. NOC from Animal Husbandry Department, etc. before clearance of the same in DTA. In case of any discrepancy/mismatch between the above ‘Description of Goods’ as provided by the Unit & ‘Description of goods as per DGFT Import Policy’, the latter will prevail.
