108.1 MISCELLANOUS ITEMS

AGENDA ITEM NO. 108.1.1

Request of M/s High Seas Trading Corporation, Kandla SEZ for resignation of partners and change in constitution.

M/s Highseas Trading Corporation, KASEZ, is an approved unit for trading activity of all items of Engineering goods, Heavy Equipments & Plants, Bulk Chemicals & Other Chemicals and General Merchandise Trading in Kandla Special Economic Zone vide Letter of Approval No. F.No. KASEZ/IA/05/2005-06 dated 28.04.2006 amended from time to time. The validity of their LoA is up to 20.07.2021.

The unit have intimated regarding resignation of three of their partners. Previously, the partnership firm consists of following four partners with profit holding as mentioned below:| Sl. Now, except Shri. Rakesh Bansal all other partners have resigned. Further the unit has also informed that due to the resignation of all the partners the firm has now changed from a Partnership firm to a proprietorship firm and Shri. Rakesh Bansal being the proprietor of the unit. The Approval Committee discussed their present issue in detail and noted that few cases have been booked against the unit by various agencies during the period of retiring partners. The Committee decided to defer the request of the unit with the: direction to the unit: to. furnish legal undertaking/affidavit from the retired partners that they are equally responsible of any dues/liabilities in any of the cases booked by various agencies which may arise in future. ede

RATIFICATION

AGENDAItem No.108.1.2 :- One time permission for import of 25600 kgs (2*20) Containers of Low Aromatic White Spirit falling under ITC(HS) Code 27101990 - Ratification

The Approval Committee after due deliberation ratified the one time permission granted to import 0220 containers weighing approximately 25600 Kgs of Low Aromatic Spirit falling under ITC (HS) code 27101990 and further decided to allow trading of their 0220 containers of Low Aromatic Spirit.

The meeting ended with vote of thanks of the chair.
