Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence of progressive India and glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The official journey of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” commenced on 12" March 2021 which started a 75 week countdown to our 75" anniversary of Independence and will end past a year on 15" August 2023. The Department of Commerce have planned various activities under the program.

In this connection, this office has decided to conduct an Event “Fit India Freedom Run 2.0”, “Jan Bhagidari se Jan Andolan” for the employees working in units operating from Cochin Special Economic Zone. This event is a Walkathon scheduled to be organized on 29%" September 2021 Wednesday at 4.00 p.m in the CSEZ campus. All units may invariably nominate at least 2 participants for the event. The units can register their participants online though the portal https://csezauthority.in/fitindia. The last date for registration is 20-09-2021. The participants should ensure that they are medically fit and have no serious health conditions. All participants should adhere to Covid 19 protocol issued by the Government from time to time.

The event will be flagged off by the Development Commissioner, CSEZ at 4.00 p.m and the participants will be honoured with medals by the Development Commissioner. All participants will be provided walkathon kit. Light refreshment will be arranged for all participants in the venue.
