Extension of work from home facility till 31.12.2022

TTFrl|?I;I'TA No.CSEZ-CSZ0K(3)1912022-SEZ Cochin Office of the Development Commissioner Cochin Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) Government of lndia Ministry of Commerce & lndustry Administrative Building Kakkanad, Cochin - 682 037 Date: 30.06.2022 CIRCULAR In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Department of Commerce, Mlnistry of Commerce and lndustry, Govt. of India vide letter No.K.43013(12)t112021-SEZ dated 06.05.2021 had instructed the Development commissioners to consider and approve requests from the SEZ Units for extension of Work From Home (WFH) facility, in a liberal manner, till such time the National Disaster Management Authority or the state Governments continue to issue orders governing the covid-1g pandemic management. As a measure of ease of doing business, it is decided to permit Work From Home facility to the sEZ units under the jurisdiction of the Development commissioner, cochin Special Economic Zone, under proviso to Rule 43 of SEZ Rules, 2006 read with lnstruction No.BS issued by the Doc. Therefore, the Units, who would like to exercise the option of wFH for their employees may do so under intimation to the Development commissioner, csEz. other conditions prescribed under proviso to Rule 43 of sEZ Rules 2006 shall be strictly complied with.
