Revision of Duty Drawback dated 17 thApril 2025

Ref.No.GJEPC/Members/Duty Drawback/2025-26 22nd April 2025 TO: ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL Sub: Revision of All Industry rates of Duty Drawback for Gold and Silver Dear All, We would like to inform you all that the Council, in the backdrop of steep hike in internaƟonal precious metal prices, had been acƟvely engaging with the Government of India to address the genuine concerns of the jewellery industry by advocaƟng for the revision in the duty drawback rates for gold and silver. AddiƟonally, we had also been requesƟng for a shiŌ from fixed value-based duty drawback rates to percentage-based rates which would beƩer support small and medium jewellery exporters.
We are pleased to inform you that the Government of India has revised the duty drawback rates on Gold from Rs 335.50 per gram to Rs 405.40 and from Rs 4468.10 per kg to Rs 4950.03 per kg for Silver vide NoƟficaƟon No. 26/2025-Customs (N.T.) dated 17th April 2025.
