COVID 19 SOP for containment Zones issued by district Collector Ernakulam 01.10.2020

Sir, Sub : Covid 19 - SOP for containment Zones - regarding Ref : D.O. No. 0110212020/DDC-CSEZ13794 dated 30th September 2020. With reference to the above, the matter was discussed with thg Health Officials & in DDMA to take precautions to contain the spread of the disease. The following are the directions / SOPs for containment of the disease.

1. Only units where cases are detected should be made a micro containment zone and closed for 7 days. Rest of the units to function. All primary contacts to go on home quarantine for 14 days. All people irrespective of being primary or secondary contacts and with symptoms to go on quarantine until their symptoms subside. '
2. Ensure essential service units with respect to point (1) (especially relating to medical seruices and medical equipments) to continue functioning with skeletal staff (20olo) and with all covid 19 protocols.
3. Also ensure no panic in the CSE zone.
4. Ensure social distancing, use of mask and sanitizers in all units. i Yours faithfully, DISTRICT
