Sub: Problems arising due to synchronization Issue - ICEGATE & RBI EDPMS -reg.

Dear Members,

You may be informed that we had got number of complaints from exporter members that from 1st of April 2021, exports appraised from different customs location and Shipping bill data thereof from ICEGATE were not getting reflected on EDPMS Portal of RBI. Due to the same the AD Banks were not discounting the export bills of the members. Council had promptly taken up this issue with Office of the DG Systems & RBI. Subsequently the issue was also addressed to Commerce Secretary & Joint Secretary of Ministry of Commerce & Industries who in turn took up the issue with Customs.

Now we have been informed by the Ministry of Commerce & Industries that Customs have informed them that the data has been transferred to RBI. Based on Council’s interaction with RBI Office, RBI has clarified that all such shipping bills of exporters are now reflecting in the EDPMS Portal/System & accordingly AD banks of the exporters may check the same & may do the needful at their end for discounting of the export bills.

Considering the above, we request all of you to contact your respective AD banks for checking the status of bills in EDPMS Portal/System.

In case, if you still face any issue in this regard, you can come back to us with details of such shipping bills and name of AD Bank and we will duly take the same up with the concerned authorities for resolution.
