Subject: ICES Advisory No.35/2020 dated 18.09.2020-streamlining of UCQs in Export Declarations –

certain relaxations to SBs-reg.
Dear All, Kind reference is invited to public notice no.29/2020-21 dated 23rd Sept 2020 issued by Office of the Commissioner of Customs-II. As per trade notice 27/2020-21 dated 14th Sept 2020 DGFT has assured that all future Licenses (DEEC/EPCG) will be issued only in standard UQCs , for license already issued without standard UQCs relaxation has been granted to allow such exports under such Licenses / Authorisation till 30th Oct 2020. Exporters/ importers has to take note that without standard UQCs export / import will not be permitted after 1st Nov 2020. Accordingly, its requested exporters to declare standard UQCs only in the item table of the shipping Bill. In the License table the quantity should be given as per the license UQC. Members can download the Public Notice .29/2020- dated 23rd September for further clarification from our website www.gjepc.org.
