GJEPC Circular on KP Fees Difference – 24th July 2020

Ref: GJC/KP_Circular/63/2020-21/4073 Date: July 24, 2020 To, All the Diamond Panel Members all over India. Sub: Guidelines related to KP Processing Charges It may be noted that every year one month grace period is given (From 1st April to 30th April ) to members for renewal of membership and during this period those who are members as on 31st March 2020 are considered as members for the Kimberley Process purpose and KP accordingly processing charges of ₹500/- + GST are collected from them. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic with reference to the Councils Notice dt 6th May 2020, 12th June 2020 and further Notice dated 10th July 2020, Membership Renewal for the FY 2020-21 has started with effect from 1st July 2020 and the timeline for Membership renewal is 31st July 2020. As mentioned earlier all the services of the Council will be suspended if member fails to renew their Membership on or before 31st July 2020. In this regard it may be noted that from 1st August, 2020 onwards those who have not completed the process of membership renewal or have not been registered under My-KYC till 31st July 2020 will be treated as Non-Members and the KP processing charges of ₹1500/- + GST will be applicable till completion of both the conditions. As such to avail the uninterrupted services and concession in KP Fees charges of ₹500 +GST the members need to fulfil the conditions mentioned below.

1. Completion of Membership Renewal before 31st July 2020.
2. Registration under My-KYC bank before 31st July 2020. Members may also note that if the membership renewal is done after 31st July 2020, the difference of the processing charges for all the kp transactions done during the period from 1st July 2020 till the date of payment of membership fees in bank will be collected from the member. Please take note of the above for necessary action and regard to timely compliance for renewal of membership and My –KYC registration before 31st July ,2020.
