SUBJECT: NATIONAL TIME RELEASE STUDY, 2025 FROM

01.01.2025 TO 07.01.2025

    Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs is conducting National

Time Release Study (NTRS), a multi-dimensional methodology which comprehensively covers end to end clearance and release process for measuring the average release time for goods under export and import. Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai is among six Air Cargo’s selected for this study. NTRS 2025 aims to build on the insights gained from previous studies and further optimize the release times of EXIM cargo across customs formations. During the study period, NTRS team will actively engage with trade and all other stakeholders. 2. In this regard, attention of all Importers/Exporters Custom Brokers, Trade, Customs Staff and other stakeholders is invited towards National Time Release Study to be conducted from 01.01.2025 for the year 2025. It has been decided by to hold an awareness meeting for all Importers, Custom Brokers, Trade, Customs Staff and other stakeholders at 12.30 hours on 26.12.2024 at Conference Hall, 1st Floor, ACC. The meeting will be chaired by the Commissioner of Customs, Import, Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai Zone-III. 3. The main objective of this meeting is to encourage all stakeholders to whole heartedly participate in the study thereby, making the National Time Release Study, 2025 effective and successful.

All importers/Exporters custom brokers, trade, Customs staff are requested to fully cooperate and support the exercise. This issues with the approval of Commissioner of Customs (Import), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai-III.
