सीमाशुल्क आयुक्त (सामान्य) का कार्यालय OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (GENERAL) मुंबई सीमाशुल्क, अंचल – III , Mumbai Customs Zone-III, BOND SECTION (G) [HCCAR Unit] Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Andheri(East), Mumbai-400099 E mail: accgenmum3-bond@gov.in बॉन्ड विभाग (सामान्य) HCCR Unit एयर कार्गो कॉम्प्लेक्स, सहार, अंधेरी (पूर्व), मुंबई-400099 फ़ाइल संख्या : यदोपरांत दिनांक: 10.07.2025 NOTIFICATION No. 29 /2025 Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 8(a) of the Customs Act,1962, the area of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport including its passenger terminal has been notified as a Customs Area vide Notification issued by New Custom House, Bombay 1 dated 27 Sept. 68 subject to the strict observance of the Provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 and other instructions issued in this behalf by the Government of India or Commissioner of Customs, CSMI Airport, from time to time, and, Whereas, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has issued procedure for import / export of Gems & Jewellery through personal carriage vide their Circular No. 09/2025- Customs dated 28.03.2025, and Whereas the Mumbai International Airport Limited has allotted an area of 24 Sq meters as described in the schedule-I below and marked in the Map annexed to this notification for the purpose of being utilized as transit point warehouse as envisaged in the Circular supra to M/s. Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council vide letter Ref. No : MIAL /COMM/24-25/175 dated 02.07.2024, Therefore, further, under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Nilank Kumar, Commissioner of Customs (General), Mumbai Zone III, hereby specify the limits of the Customs Area as described in the schedule-I below and marked in the Map annexed to this notification for the purpose of being utilized as transit point warehouse at airport as envisaged in the Circular, supra, till the allotment made by the MIAL is valid. Schedule-I The Area of approximately 24 Sq. mtrs. (258.334 Square Feet) situated near McDonald outlet located at departure after immigration of the CSMI Airport, Sahar, Andheri (E), Mumbai.
