As per Public Notice No. 06/2015, the Document Management system was implemented at the Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai with effect from 22.06.2015 and M/s Newgen Software Technologies Limited was entrusted with the collecting charges for DMS. All the Custom Brokers/ Trade/ industry/ importers and Exporters were required to attach the EDI copy of the coupon in the Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill document set while handing over the same to the concerned officers of the Department after LE0/ Out of Charge. A. 3. Reference may also be invited to Public Notice No. 23/2022 dated 27.06.2022. Non submission of Shipping Bills for Digitalization wherein LEO has been granted 4. It has been observed that all the Shipping Bills wherein LEO has been granted are not being sent for digitalization. The No. of Shipping Bills wherein Shipping Bills were not sent for digitalization (from July 2022 to December 2023) are 458521. Custom Brokers wise lists of number of Shipping Bills not sent for digitalization have been enclosed at Annexure Non Payment of DMS charges wherein Shipping Bills have been digitalized/ scanned 5. It has also been observed that DMS charges are not being paid by the Custom Brokers/ exporter wherein Shipping, Bills have been digitalized/ scanned. The total No. of shipping bills wherein payments or DMS Charges are not being paid by the Custom Brokers/ exporter are 91490. The Custom Brokers wise lists of Shipping Bills wherein DMS Charges are not paid have been enclosed at Annexure B. 6. In view of the above, all the Custom Brokers/Exporters are hereby informed to submit the shipping bills for digitalization and pay the DMS /0405//2024
