NOTICE FOR AUCTION FOR DISPOSAL OF OBSOLETE/UNSERVICEABLE GOODS/SCRAP IN “AS IS WHERE IS CONDITION”

This office intends to dispose-off unserviceable, obsolete and e-waste materials including Keyboard, Mouse, Cartridges, CPU, Printers, Monitors, Tube lights etc. lying near CHS Section and EDI section by way of auction on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”. These unserviceable articles are to be disposed of through auction are enclosed as Annexure. The reserve price for the goods in action is fixed at Rs.1,57,375/- The unserviceable articles are accumulated in a heap at one place and the numbers of items as shown in Annexure-I are also in close approximation.

  1.   Interested bidders may inspect the goods any day from 04.11.2024 to

08.11.2024 between 10:00 am to 05:30 pm.

  1.   All the interested bidders are requested to submit their offer/bids in

sealed cover addressed to the Asst./Dy. Commissioner of Customs, CHS, Air Cargo Complex, Andheri East-400099 latest by 14.11.2024 till 02:00 pm.

  1.   Any bid offering the price of the goods below the reserved price i.e.,

Rs. 1,57,375/- will be out-rightly rejected.

  1.   Prospective bidders of such lots of hazardous waste/scrap batteries/e-

waste should be registered e-waste processor duly authorized by concerned Pollution Control Board, valid on the date of e-Auction and on the date of delivery, as recycler/pre-processor agency. The copies of the same must be enclosed along with the bids in the sealed cover.

  1.   Tender/Bids will be opened at 03:00 Pm on 18.11.2024 in the office

of the Asst./Dy. Commissioner of Customs, CHS, Air Cargo Complex, Andheri East- 400099. The highest bidder will be awarded the bid materials. The bidders are welcome to come and witness the opening of tender/bids. GEN/1985/2024-CHS-O/o COMMR-CUS-GEN-Zone-III-Mumbai I/2389573/2024

  1.   Firm will have to submit EMD of Rs. 2500/- at the time of auction.

  2.   The successful party will have to make payment of auctioned items

immediately after hid bid is accepted and will have to remove the articles from the Air Cargo Complex on the same day. The party will be permitted to remove the items only after full and final payment of bid.

  1.   Release order for delivery of the disposed-off goods be made only

after receipt of the full bid price. The payment should be made in the form of Bank Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in the name of “COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS ACC”.

  1. No assistance will be provided by the department for loading/unloading of stores.
