Sub: Procedure for self sealing and e-sealing of containerized cargo at factory/approved warehouse premises prescribed vide the Public Notice No 147/2017 dated 16.11.2017- reg.

Attention of the exporters, custom brokers and all concerned are invited to Public Notice No 147/2017 dated 16.11.2017 on subject mentioned above.

Vide Circular No. 51/2017 dated 21.12.2017, issued from F.No.450/08/2015- Cus.IV, the Central Board of Excise and Customs has extended the date for implementation of electronic sealing for containers by exporters under self sealing procedure to 01.03.2018.

Hence, the validity of the Public Notice No 147/2017 dated 16.11.2017 is hereby extended up to 28.02.2018.

Difficulties faced, if any, in the implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the Assistant Commissioner of Customs FSP Cell immediately.
