Sub: Assessment work to be conducted in all Groups in JNCH on 03.09.2016 – reg. Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and other Stakeholders is invited to the fact that all the Assessing Groups would be working on 03.09.2016 till 4.00 p.m. due to holiday on 05.09.2016 on account of Ganesh Chaturthi. This will not only help in facilitating the Trade/Industry in tune with the Government’s initiative of “Ease of doing Business” but will also obviate the situation of cargo accumulation at Port’s/CFS’s. In this regard all Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and other Stakeholders involved in the processing and clearance of imported/export cargo are informed to avail this facility for assessment and clearance of the cargo. This issues with the approval of the Commissioner of Customs, NS-III.
