EGM pendency -re,. Attention of all Exporters, Customs Brokers, Members of Trade, Custodians and all other concerned is invited to the EGM errors (SB002: - EGM not filed and Error code 7: Gateway EGM not filed) that has been reflected in the EDI System after filing of Shipping Bills and submission of Export General Manifest (EG M) to the proper officer. 2. In this regard, it is stated that as per Section 41 of the Customs Act, 1962, "The person in-charge of a conveyance carrying export goods shall, before departure of the conveyance from a Customs station, deliver the manifest (EGM) to the proper officer". 3. It has been observed that in these cases, correct EGM was not filed, resulting in delay in the processing of RODTEP and IGST Refunds to the Exporters. 4. In view of the above, and in pursuance of Public Notice No. 14/2017 dated 27.12.2017, the Public Notice for the period till Dec. 2025 is hereby issued containing list of Shipping Bills with Error code SB002 and Error Code 7: • Annexure-A: List of Shipping Bills with Error Code 7 . • Annexure-B: List of Shipping Bills with SB002 error. Exporters and Customs Brokers are advised to take note of the same and ensure that the errors are rectified or the EGM is filed, as the case may be, through the concerned Airlines, so as to enable them to avail post-export RODTEP and IGST Refund without delay. 5. Any difficulty faced in implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.
