Atention of all Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Custodians. Shipping Lines, and Trade Members is invited to CBIC Circular No. 1S/2026-Customs dated 27.03.2026. In view of the ongoing disruptions in maritime routes resulting in the diversion or retum of export cargo, the Board has clarified that the international transhipment of both Full Coniainer Lutd (FCL) and Less than full Container Load (LCL) cargo shall be permited from all scaports and international airports. For the purpose of expeditious processing and supervision of requests for iniernational transhipment, and in accordance with Para 3 of the aforementioned Circular, he following officer is designated as the Nodal Officer for this jurisdiction: • Name: Priya Ratrnakar Jadhav Designation: Additional Commissioner of Customs 17-04-2026 Email ID: accgenmum3-tpsez@gov.in • Contact Number: 7715075929 The designated Nodal Officer shall ensure that permissions for international transhipment are granted on a priority basis after due verification, by the duly authorised jurisdictional Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of Customs. In cases where the international transhipment involves the movement of cargo to another Custons station for onward transhipment, the Nodal Officer will coordinate prior consent through official email with the transitvdestination Customs station.
