Reason for revision in projection:
The unit in their application has stated that they intend to procure Intellectual Property (IP/Software license). The cost
of the said Software IP is INR 1,637 crore (USD 180 Million).
The Unit has also stated that the Proposed Software IP being downloaded will enable HCL Software’s data vision to
meet the growing demand for Metadata Management, data catalog and data governance solutions. It will further
accelerate the Agentic Business Intelligence roadmap of Actian’s customers by providing embedded analytics and
pixel-perfect reporting capabilities.
The procurement is expected to increase their export revenue by INR 363.89 Crore (40 Million) per annum.
Additionally, this will generate employment for 50 new individuals during the remaining period of the current block.

UAC may like to consider the justification given by the unit towards higher import value compared to projected, and
consider the proposal of the unit for revision in projection under Rule 19(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006.
