21.02.2025 Agenda Item No.02: Action taken report for the Minutes of the meeting held on 21.02.2025 After deliberation, the Committee noted the action taken report for the meeting held on 21.02.2025 Agenda Item No. 03: Monitoring of performance for M/s. Envipro Engineering Pvt Ltd. After deliberation, the committee noted the performance of the unit for 5 years i.e from FY 2019-20 to FY 2023-24 of 1st Block period, in terms of Rule 54 of SEZ Rules, 2006. As detailed below: The unit in 5th year i.e., FY 2023-24 of 1 st block period has achieved export revenue of Rs. 0.42 Cr. against the projected export of Rs. 60.21Cr on cumulative basis. The unit has achieved positive NFE of Rs. 0.42 Cr. in FY 2023-24 on cumulative basis. Since the unit has failed to file APR in stipulated time which resulted in the delay in filing of APR every year, the Committee directed to issue Show Cause Notice to the Unit. The Unit is required to submit details of pending foreign exchange remittance beyond permissible limit. Agenda Item No. 04: Monitoring of performance for M/s. Steam Equipments Ltd. After deliberation, the committee noted the performance of the unit for 05 years i.e. F.Y 2019-20 to FY 2023-24 of 1st block period, in terms of Rule 54 of SEZ Rules, 2006. As detailed below: The unit has achieved Export of Rs. 17.25Cr. against the projected export of Rs. 108.25 Cr. during the monitoring period i.e FY 2019-20 to FY 2023-24. The unit has achieved Positive NFE of Rs. 2.94 Cr. i.e, 17.01% in FY. 2023-24 The unit has achieved employment of 48 (Men- 43, Women- 05) It has been observed that Unit has not filed any APR within stipulated time. 5. Approved projection at the time of Renewal of LOA. Reason for Broad Banding : The unit has submitted that, in view of future business prospects and client inquiries , their management has decided to seek an amendment to their LOA to include additional item in Authorized Operation to be undertaken from the SEZ Unit. Further the unit has provided that the additional item, Needle Shield (HS Code: 40169990) does not fall under the Prohibited or restricted category for exports as per current policy. Reason for No Changes in Projections on account of inclusion of additional item of manufacture: The unit has informed that their proposed activities will not result into change in the existing projections of Imports and Investment submitted by them and is well within the proposed limits. The proposed item manufacturing activity will be undertaken using their existing plant and machinery, raw material and no additional Capital investment or manpower is required for the same. Further, they have stated that there will be no Revision in Projections for Exports, Investments and Employment etc. e. Recommendation: Approval Committee may consider the proposal of the unit for Broad Banding of Additional item without revision in projections, in terms of Rule 19(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006.
