a. Proposal :
Monitoring of the performance of M/s. Wockhardt Ltd. Unit 1, a pharmaceutical products-manufacturing unit located
in Wockhardt Infrastructure Development Ltd.-SEZ, MIDC-Aurangabad, for last year FY 2021-22 of the 2nd block
period and first 3 years of 3rd block period FY 2022-23 to FY 2024-25.
b. Specific Issue on which decision of AC is required: -
Monitoring of the performance of the unit for last year (FY 2021-22) of 2 nd block period and first 3 years of 3rd
block period FY 2022-23 to FY 2024-25 in terms of Rule 54 of SEZ Rules, 2006.

e. Recommendation:
- The Unit has achieved export revenue of Rs. 6.72 Crores as against projected export of Rs. 736.04 Crores in 5th year (FY 2021-22) of the 2nd block period (FY 2017-18 to FY 2021-22)
- The unit has recorded a Negative NFE of Rs. 97.42 Crores on Cumulative basis i.e. -80.22% at the end of the 2nd Block period (FY 2017-18 to FY 2021-22).
- The Unit has achieved export revenue of Rs. 13.98 Crores as against projected export of Rs. 403.6 Crores in
3 years (FY 2022-23 to 2024-25) of the 3rd block period (FY 2022-23 to FY 2026-27) 4. The unit has recorded a Negative NFE of Rs. 152.97 Crores on Cumulative basis i.e. -1094.77% at the end of 3rd year (FY 2024-25) of the 3rd block period (FY 2022-23 to FY 2026-27) 5. As per the SO Report the unit has achieved employment of 327 employees in FY 2024-25 against projected employment of 500 employees. 6. Past Performance of the Unit (Based on the Monitoring conducted by the UAC in meeting dated 26.07.2022) : Block Period NFE recorded (In Crores) Action Taken Remarks 1st Block (2012-13 to 2016-17) – 5 years -52.805 Order in Original dated 30.06.2023 was issued for reporting Negative NFE of Rs. 107.85 Crores for 9 years and imposed a Penalty of Rs. 1,07,85,000/- Unit has paid the penalty amount of Rs. 1,07,85,000/- levied on them vide Demand Draft No. 504220 dated 13.07.2023 drawn on ICICI Bank, Bandra Kurla Complex Branch 2nd Block Period (2017-18 to 2020-21) – 4 years -55.046 TOTAL -107.85 Crores
