a. Proposal: -
Application of M/s. SEZ Biotech Service Pvt. Ltd. (Co-Developer), located at 212/2, Off Soli Poonawal Group, Serum Bio Pharma Park-SEZ, Hadapsar, une-411028 for approval of list of material required to add more items in the list of materials for authorized Operations.

b. Specific Issue on which decision of Approval Committee is required: - Approval for List of material for authorized operations in the processing area totally valued at Rs.12.23 Crores.

c. Relevant Provisions: - As per Rule 12 (2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 “The Developer shall make an application, after obtaining approval for the authorized operation under rule 9, to the Development Commissioner, along with the list of goods and services, including machinery, equipments and construction material required for the authorized operations, duly certified by a Chartered Engineer for approval by the Approval Committee”.

e. Other Information: - • M/s. SEZ Biotech Service Pvt. Ltd, Co- Developer has been granted Letter of Approval No. F2/39/2005-EPZ Dated 28.09.2005& 09.06.2006 • The Co-Developer has submitted List of Materials duly certified by the Chartered Engineer VIBHAV SAPRE Reg No M-167076-4 for Operation and Maintenance which is authorized operation for development of their SEZ located at M/s SEZ Biotech Service Pvt. Ltd, Co- Developer, 212/2, Off Soli Poonawal Group, Serum Bio Pharma Park-SEZ, Hadapsar, une-411028. • The Co-Developer has informed that the list of material required for providing Infrastructural facilities in the processing area which is authorized operation for development of their SEZ in the aforesaid sector specific SEZ for Bio-tech and Pharma Sector. • The total value of said materials is Rs. 12.23 Crores. • SO has been requested vide letter dated 15.04.2024 to submit verification report and SO’s vide his verification report dated 19.04.2024 has submitted that, the Co-Developer has Bond Balance of Rs. 3.03 Crores which is sufficient for the procurement of Indigenous material of estimated value of 12.23 Crores. • The Co-Developer has submitted additional bond of Rs. 60 Crores. • The Co-Developer has also submitted an undertaking that the said material will be utilized with in the time limit as specified in SEZ Act 2005 and Rules 2006 made thereunder. • Accordingly, the list of material is in order, the CE vide his letter dated 05.04.2024 have also certified that, these materials are required for Authorized Operations of M/s. SEZ Biotech Service Pvt. Ltd. (Co-Developer) and hence the request of Co-Developer may be considered.

f. ADC’s Observation : -

• Approval Committee may kindly consider the request of the Co-Developer for approval of list of material for authorized operation as per Rule 12(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006.
