AGENDA NOTE FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE APPROVAL COMMITTEE

a. Proposal: -
Application of M/s Infosys Limited, SEZ-Developer II, located at Plot No.1, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase-I, Pune-411057 for approval of List of Material for authorized operation of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Viz., to maintain, upgrade and upkeep the Infrastructure Development activity.

b. Specific Issue on which decision of Approval Committee is required: - Approval for List of material required by Developer to carry out default authorized operations as per Instruction No.50 & 54 approved by Board of Approval in terms letter No.F.1/9/2019-SEZ Dated 06-Dec- 2019, totally valued at Rs. 0.0347 Crore.

c. Relevant Provisions: - As per Rule 12 (2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 “The Developer shall make an application, after obtaining approval for the authorized operation under rule 9, to the Development Commissioner, along with the list of goods and services, including machinery, equipment and construction material required for the authorized operations, duly certified by a Chartered Engineer for approval by the Approval Committee”.

d. List of Materials for Default Authorized Operations Viz., To Develop, Maintain, and for upkeep of following Infrastructure:

The details of the materials along with the Procurement details as submitted by the unit is as given below:

e. Other Information: -

M/s Infosys Limited, SEZ-Developer II has been granted Letter of Approval No. F.1/9/2019-SEZ dated 06.12.2019.

The developer has submitted List of Materials duly certified by the Chartered Engineer (Name- Ashish Deshmukh, Registration No. AM 100232-89, for the Infrastructure to be developed, Maintained, and upgraded in respect of SEZ, area, located at M/s Infosys Limited, SEZ- Developer II, Plot No.1, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase- I, Pune-411057. .

The Developer has informed that the list of material required to Maintain, upgrade, and upkeep of Infrastructure Viz.,1) Building No. 1 admeasuring space of 88,349 Sq ft (Approx.)

The total value of said materials is Rs. 0.0347 Crore.

The Specified Officer has submitted verification report on 12.03.2024 and informed that these items are required for the Developer’s default authorized operations. The Developer has sufficient BLUT balance to cover the duty value of proposed list of material. The Approval sought for list of materials is in order and therefore the same may be granted.

   f)  Observation: -

Approval Committee may consider the request of the Developer for approval of list of material as per Rule 12(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006.
