2 After deliberation, Committee considered the request of the Developer and approved the list of goods including machinery, equipment and construction materials required for authorised operation, totally valued at Rs.85.57 lakhs duly certified by the Chartered Engineer Ashish Deshmukh, AM 100232-8 dated 10.03.2023, in terms of Rule 12(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006. Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair.

AGENDA NOTE FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE APPROVAL COMMITTEE

a) Proposal: - Application of M/s Infosys Limited, SEZ-Developer II, located at Plot No.1, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase-I, Pune-411057 for approval of List of Material required by SEZ Developer II, for authorized operation of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Viz., to maintain, upgrade and upkeep of the available Infrastructure. b) Specific Issue on which decision of Approval Committee is required: - Approval for List of material required for authorized operations totally valued at Rs. 13,91,000.00 c) Relevant Provisions: - As per Rule 12 (2) of SEZ Rules, 2006 “The Developer shall make an application, after obtaining approval for the authorized operation under rule 9, to the Development Commissioner, along with the list of goods and services, including machinery, equipments and construction material required for the authorized operations, duly certified by a Chartered Engineer for approval by the Approval Committee”. d) List of Materials for Default Authorized Operations Viz., Infrastructure to be Developed, Maintained, and for upkeep of Infrastructure: The details of the materials along with the Procurement details as submitted by the Developer are as given below; Sr. No. Name of authorized operation Qua ntit y Estimated Value of Goods purchase from DTA (Amount in Lakhs.) e) Other Information: -  M/s Infosys Limited, SEZ-Developer II has been granted Letter of Approval No. F.1/9/2019-SEZ dated 06.12.2019.  The developer has submitted List of Materials duly certified by the Chartered Engineer (Name- Ashish Deshmukh, Registration No. AM 100232-89, for the Infrastructure to be developed, Maintained, and upgraded in respect of SEZ, area, located at M/s Infosys Limited, SEZ-Developer II, Plot No.1, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase-I, Pune-411057.  The Developer has informed that the list of material is required to Maintain, upgrade, and upkeep of Infrastructure Viz., Building No. 1,2,10,11,14,15 admeasuring space of 3,54,321 Sft. (Approx.) of their existing developed Sector Specific SEZ for IT /ITES. The Developer has BLUT balance of Rs 95.74 Crores (as on 13th July 2023) which is sufficient enough to cover the value of proposed List of Materials.  The total value of said materials is Rs. 13,91,000.00  The specified officer, after verifying the list of materials, has ascertained and certified that the materials are required by the developer to maintain, upgrade, and upkeep of the infrastructure for authorized operations. The approval sought for the list of materials is in order, and therefore, it may be granted. f) Observation: - Approval Committee may like to consider the request of the Developer for approval of list of material as per Rule 12(2) of SEZ Rules, 2006.
