All the concerned are hereby informed that Annual General Transfer/rotation(AGT-2024) in the grade of Superintendent of Customs (P) and Preventive Officer is under consideration. The transfer and posting policy in the grade of Superintendent of Customs (P) and Preventive Officers is governed by the Standing Order No. 08/2017 dated 25.04.2017 issued vide F. No. S/43-794/2013-14 P (PSO) and the amendments to Standing Order No. 08/2017 dated 25.04.2017 vide Standing Order No. 04/2022 dated 06.05.2022 and Standing Order No. 14/2022 dated 28.12.2022.

  1. Therefore, to consider and accommodate requests from Superintendent

of Customs (P) of Mumbai & Goa Customs and Preventive Officers of Mumbai Customs regarding posting to a specific zone on the basis of spouse/dependent/medical grounds etc., representations are being invited prior to this exercise.

Customs (P) and Preventive Officer for the year 2024 is due in the month of May, 2024.

Therefore, Superintendent of Customs (P) of Mumbai & Goa Customs and Preventive Officers of Mumbai Customs are hereby requested to submit their representations, if any, to this office for or against any specific posting as mentioned at Para 15 of the above said Standing Order dated 25.04.2017. Such representation should be sent to PSO, New Custom House, Mumbai by hand or at Email Id- (psoposting-nchmum@gov.in) from 26.03.2024 (Tuesday) till 04.04.2024 (Thursday). Representations received after the due date shall not be considered under any circumstances.

     This issues with the approval of Pr. Chief Commissioner of Customs,

Zone-I.
