        Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 142 (1) (a) of the Customs

Act, 1962, as amended I, Meena Ranveer Singh, Assistant commissioner of Customs, Customs Preventive Commissionerate, Amritsar require and request that the aforesaid outstanding amount should be recovered from any money owing to/to be payable to the aforesaid person/firm by all the officers of the Customs and or Officers of the Central Excise/ Central GST(who have been designated as officers of Cusotms and Central Excise), all over India.Where the aforesaid amount is recovered, the same may be intimated as soon GEN/HQR/Misc/OTH/207/2023-AS-O/o Commr-Cus-Prev-Amritsar I/1315802/2023

as the amount is realized. I also further require and request in terms of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of the section 142 of Customs Act, 1962 that the amount mentioned above should also be recovered by detaining and selling any goods, belonging to the aforesaid person, which are under the control of any officer of Customs, Central Excise & CGST of your respective Commissionerate all over India.

        An intimation regarding recovery  may kindly be sent to the undersigned as soon as

the amount is realized. The amount so recovered may be sent to the undersigned by demand draft in favour of the "Pay & Accounts Officer, Customs (Prev.) Commissionerate, Amritsar".
