Sub: Conduct of G-category examination for the year 2023 under Regulation 13 of CBLR, 2018 by Mumbai Customs Commissionerate- Reg.

Kind attention of all the stakeholders is invited to Public Notice Nos. 04/2023 dated 18.04.2023, 08/2023 dated 24.04.2023, 10/2023 dated 03.05.2023, 11/2023 dated 09.05.2023 and 12/2023 dated 16.05.2023 on the above referred subject.

2. In this regard, it has been observed that a large number of applications have been rejected due to errors/ommissions committed by the applicants. Since . the date of the exam has been postponed to 11.06.2023, and considering the ‘ request of the stakeholders, the last date for submission of applications has been . extended to 25.05.2023 till 11:59 PM.

3. This facility is being extended to only those applicants whose applications have been rejected or who could not file before last date. Such applicants whose applications were rejected have to file a new application from their respective CBLMS account. It is reiterated that applicants who have received an email that their application has been accepted need not apply again. Also, applicants who had submitted payment particulars via TR-6 Challan need not make a fresh payment, the same challan can be uploaded again. Applicants filing fresh application also have the option of making online payment within the form.

4. Further, applicants are advised to follow all instructions/clarifications issued vide earlier Public Notices (as mentioned in para 1 above), particularly, regarding filing of application through their own account (application not to be filed through CB account), entry of correct CBLMS number and uploading of Self - Declaration on the number of attempts exhausted earlier (in Any Other Documents tab).

5. It is once again notified that the applicants must ensure the correctness/ completeness of the details filled in the application before submitting the

application, as incorrect/incomplete application shall be rejected without any Notice/ Deficiency Memo issued to the applicant. Incomplete/incorrect applications shall be summarily rejected without giving any reasons for rejection. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained by this office.

6. Moreover, as last date of submission of applications has been extended till 25.05.2023, the list of eligible candidates shall now be displayed on or before 31.05.2023. This shall also apply to applicants who are employees of Authorised Courier as well.

7. Further, in case of eligible H-card holders for the said examination, the Admit cards will now be issued through the CBLMS portal from 05.06.2023 to 07.06.2023 and in case of eligible employees of Authorized Couriers for the said examination, the Admit cards will be issued manually by this office on 07.06.2023.
