PUBLIC NOTICE

Sub: List of commodities tested and quantity required in NCH Laboratory Mumbai- reg.

Attention of importers, Customs Brokers, other members of Trade and Industry is invited to the fact that NCH Laboratory Mumbai is having the facilities to test the items / commodities mentioned in the table below. In order to standardize and maintain informality as well as avoiding unnecessary delay in sample testing for want of adequate quantities of the sample. The quantity of the sample required for the complete analysis for different items /commodities are also mentioned in the list. It is also informed that every sample bottle / packet /container should be properly packed (in leak proof container for liquid samples), labelled and sealed. Each sample should be forwarded with individual test memo (Test memo in du plicate).

2. All the officers posted at docks / Groups are hereby directed that the sample may be forwarded to NCH Laboratory Mumbai testing as per quantity mentioned in the list below,
