Subject: Capturing mandatory additional parameters for the CTHs - 23040020 and 23040030- reg.

Kind attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Custom Brokers and all other stake holders is invited to ICES Advisory No:21/2021dated 09.09.2021 issued by Dy. Director, ICES, DG(Systems) on the above mentioned subject.

2. For effective monitoring of imports of GM soya de-oiled cake by the Government of India and the directions received from Board in this regard, certain additional mandatory declarations are being sought from the importer in order to distinguish the GM soya de-oiled cake from other non- GM commodities or ones fit for human consumption.

3. Accordingly, changes have been done in System for seeking additional parameters mandatorily for the concerned CTHs viz. 23040020 & 23040030 as below —

4. The above declarations are in addition to the declarations already being sought for FSSAI related CTHs.
