Sub : Paperless Customs-Electronic Communication of PDF based Gate pass and OOC Copy of Bill of Entry to Custom Brokers/Importers – Reg.

Attention of all the Importers and Customs Brokersis invited to the CBIC Circular No. 19/2020 – Customs dated 13.04.2020 on the subject of “Paperless Customs-Electronic Communication of PDF based Gate pass and OOC Copy of Bill of Entry to CustomBrokers/Importers” and subsequent Public Notice No. 26/2020 dated 16.04.2020 issued vide F.No. S/26-Misc- 32/2018-19 Appr. Gen(I) therein. As per above circular, it has been decided to do away with hard copy of Out of Charge copy of Final Bill of Entry and CustomBrokers/Importers are receiving PDF based Gate pass and OOC Copy of Bill of Entry on their e mail. There is no need for taking print out of Bill of Entry and Gate pass.

Although EDI OoC message is being transmitted electronically to Custodiansbut custodian may have difficulty in calculating dues and they may need OOC Copy of Bill of Entry. Therefore, the Importers and Customs Brokers may send their PDF based eGatepass and eOOC copy of Bill of Entry to MbPT on the e-mail address mbpt_ooc@mumbaiport.gov.in instead of hard copy of the same.

MbPT Officers are requested to verify the authenticity of the eGatepass and eOOC copy of Bill of Entry so received on the ICETRAK app provided by DG System and after verification further course of action may be taken at their end.

Difficulty, if any, faced in implementation of the said Public Notice may be brought to the notice ofDC/Docks, NCH through email onedi.helpdeskmcz1@gov.in.

Action to be taken in terms of decisions conveyed in this Public Notice should be considered as Standing Order for the purpose of theOfficers.
