Subject: Sampling of Exporters from China PR regarding anti-dumping Investigation
concerning imports of Polyethylene Terephthalate Film (PET Film) originating in or exporting from Bangladesh, China PR, Thailand and United States of America.
Reference of all interested parties is invited to the above-cited investigation. The Authority has initiated anti-dumping investigation in respect of imports of Polyethylene Terephthalate Film vide notification dated 30th September 2025. The scope of PUC and PCNs were notified on 6th November 2025. The last date of questionnaire responses was 27th November 2025.
In view of large number of producers and traders who have responded in the present investigation, the Authority, pursuant to Rule 17(3) of the AD Rules, has selected the following two producers along with their associated exporters for determination of individual dumping margin, on the basis of the largest percentage of the volume of the exports to India from China PR during the investigation period, and considering number of producers that can be investigated for individual determination of dumping margin:

The Authority would determine the dumping margin for non-sampled cooperating producers/ exporters from China PR on the basis of dumping margin of the sampled producers from China PR, and in accordance with the provisions of the Rules.
The interested parties may offer their comments latest by 29th December, 2025. In view of time bound nature of anti-dumping investigations, no request for extension of time shall be entertained by the Authority.
This issues with the approval of the Designated Authority.
