NOTICE FOR ORAL HEARING

Subject: Oral Hearing in Anti-Dumping investigation concerning imports of Calcined Gypsum

Powder originating in or exported from Iran, Oman, Saudi Arabia and UAE.

An Anti-Dumping investigation concerning imports of Calcined Gypsum Powder originating in or exported from Iran, Oman, Saudi Arabia and UAE was initiated on 29.09.2020 under the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of anti-dumping duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 (AD Rules). As per Rule 6 (6) of AD Rules “The Director General may allow an interested party or its representative to present the information relevant to the investigation orally but such oral information shall be taken into consideration by the Designated Authority only when it is subsequently reproduced in writing”. 2. In pursuance of the aforesaid provision, and the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, Shri Anant Swarup, Joint Secretary & Designated Authority has scheduled an oral hearing in the matter through Digital Video Conference (DVC) to be held via NIC-WebEx on 01st March 2021 at 03:00 PM (IST). 3. You will be required to submit written submissions and the rejoinders (confidential and non- confidential versions) of the views expressed at the hearing within the date and time schedule to be indicated on the date of hearing. 4. Kindly intimate the name(s) and email addresses of the person (s) who are expected to attend the hearing.
