Subject: Extension of statutory deadline for completion of anti-dumping investigation
concerning imports of “Ethylene Diamine” originating in or exported from People's Republic of China (“China PR”), European Union, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Taiwan.

It is hereby notified that, in respect of the ongoing anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of “Ethylene Diamine” originating in or exported from People's Republic of China (“China PR”), European Union, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Taiwan, the Central Government has extended the statutory time limit for completion of the investigation by a further period of three months, beyond 25th March, 2026, i.e. up to 25th June, 2026, in terms of the applicable provisions of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 and the Anti-Dumping Rules, 1995.

The above extension has been granted by the Central Government vide Office Memorandum No. CBIC-190349/11/2026-TRU Section-CBIC dated 23rd March, 2026, issued by the Tax Research Unit (TRU), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

In accordance with the above extension granted by the Central Government, the Designated Authority has accordingly revised the schedule for completion of the subject investigation, which shall now be concluded on or before 25th June, 2026.
